About properties and plug-ins
and properties are used at both the server and levels to control the operation and configuration of Windows Media Services. Each plug-in and property has its own unique function that affects the operation of the Windows Media server. Many plug-ins and properties regulate the core functionality of the server, and improper settings can affect the ability of the server to stream content or the ability of to access content. Plug-ins and properties are categorized into groups in order to identify their function on the server.
